Kidney bean burgers with peas and carrots

-for the burger:

  • tin kidney beans
  • tablespoon oatmeal
  • tablespoon wholemeal flour
  • teaspoon tomato paste
  • teaspoon mustard
  • prize salt
  • prize pepper

-for the peas and carrotts:

  • onion
  • clove of garlic
  • carrot
  • tin peas
  • 50ml vegetable stock
  • basil, fresh


  1. Stamp the kidney
  2. beans. Mix in the oatmeal, wholemeal flour, tomato paste and mustard. Then taste with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear the patties in oil goldenbrown.
  4. Cut the onion and roast them with the garlic in medium heat.
  5. Cut the carrotts in cubs and put them in the pan. Chop the basil fine and add to the pan.
  6. Add the peas and vegetable stock. Cook them 5-10 minutes.
  7. Serve the vegetable with the patties.
